I only know you in bits and pieces
I know what you want me to see, what you want me to know
I've known you for a year now and I don't seem to know you at all.
What I know is
You are sensitive, but others don't know it
You have passions that you don't follow
You are smart but you do not believe it
You have compassion, but hide it from yourself and others too
You are honest and that you do share
You have talent, but won't acknowledge it
You are human and you can't deny it.
