I really identified with Jess, because my own dream was acting, which isn't the most conventional profession.

It's very hard to consistently maintain your place on the national teams. I think it's a credit to Jess and her coaches that she's been a part of the national teams for the better part of four years.
Jess was a zone buster tonight. We told her before the game to just keep shooting the ball and it was a good confidence boost for her to knock down those shots.
I want Jess for my birthday March 19.
(Jess) is coming along - it's a slow process. Her huge issue right now is the confidence, and that's going to come. The sad thing is that we're not going against weakened competition to begin with. She's going to be thrown to the wolves right away, so it's going to be a competitive game for her... If she comes and plays like she can, she'll be fine, whether goals go in or not.
Compton Terrace was one of the first 'sheds.' When Jess opened it, there weren't many venues like it. No one thought to dig a hole in the ground and hold concerts outdoors. Now there are 50 or 60 across the country.
Jess is a true team player. Despite personal struggle, Jess went the extra mile for the team. Jess gave 100-percent effort on the ski track, despite a heart condition. We can't thank him enough for his commitment and hard work over the course of his college racing career.
For Jess, getting back to states for the second consecutive year is quite an accomplishment. The girls have had a great season and to make it to states speaks volumes of their abilities.
Jess is a returning district and state qualifier in the butterfly and she knows what to expect in these meets.
When Jess Lowery left us last year, she was a top-notch bowler. But the girls pulled together and bowled as a team. That's how we did so well. I can't say enough about them. For them to win a Conference title a second year in a row is impressive. To their credit, they figured out how to bowl as a team.
Jess is probably one of our most consistent players day in and day out. She brings it every game. And that's huge, particularly for a young player.
That's something this school prides itself on, the defense. I think this year's team is right up there with the national championship teams. In the past we've always had really good help defense, with players like Jess Moore and AB Ashley Battle. That's something that this team is still learning. But we've been doing so well defensively that we can only get better.
Jess brought business savvy from outside the concert business to the concert business. But he also loved the music, because his daughter was a musician.
Jess is another hard-worker with a great attitude. She had credibility the last two years, and the coaches knew who she was. Any time we didn't have her on the court, it hurt us. She's a tough kid who endured a lot of pain to play.
That was interesting to see. I think it proved that Jess has confidence in a lot of people.
At the end of the year, her coaches made remarks to me about her ability to be a gamer. When she scores eight to 10 points a game, they often won. Jess is a scorer.
