    I dont know about the technicalities involved in raising the height of the dam. What I do know is that farmers have been displaced from their land and they have lost their livelihood. Till the people who have already been displaced by the dam are not rehabilitated, the height of the dam should not be raised.

    I think anybody deserves the right for a second chance and to prove they've been rehabilitated. We can argue about how long that takes and what you need to do to be rehabilitated ... but everyone should have the opportunity to prove it.

    Considering his age, he's not at the point where he cannot be rehabilitated. He's functioning well below his age in every area. Juvenile justice would offer him more structure.


    These are people who we don't feel can be rehabilitated and will continue to commit offenses once they are released. Our goal is to keep them incarcerated for as long as possible.
