    (Massachusetts) scored its goals on a couple of breakdowns and lack of discipline with our overall team shape early. They did the smart thing-they tried to sit on a two-goal lead and they did it, and we weren't able to crack them.

    One of the big mistakes a team can make is get a one or two-goal lead and start sitting back ... while the other team has the opportunity to turn on the jets offensively and put some pucks in the net. We didn't want that.


    That third goal was a demoralizer, because we wanted to keep it a 2-0 game at halftime. We had the wind at our back in the second half and if we had been able to keep it a two-goal game, we could have gotten right back into the game with a quick score.

    That's just the type of player Josh is. He's always been there when we need a big play. That goal made such a huge difference. It was a two-goal deficit instead of three.

    We were pretty resilient and got it down to a two-goal game and then the penalty on Quinlan - it was a horse... call. I know I'll get fined by the league but I don't care. It was a terrible call by two veteran officials.
