I'm not going to give up. It takes me a few laps to get going, but I've decided I'm going for it. No excuses. I chose to do this and I'm happy to be on the podium again.

Honestly, I felt confident. Today (in practice) I was horrible, but my team did a good job helping me get ready and it worked out for us.

I want to be up there battling with those guys. I've got to figure out a way to get better starts and to stay up front. That's my main concern right now. The team has worked hard to give me a great bike, now I need to go out there and at least battle hard for the lead.

This was a step in the right direction for me. I will take it any way I can get it. Something told me it was going to get ugly tonight.
